Redstar Shogo Linux-powered Tablet is powered by a Freescale iMX-37 processor, a 10.1-inch (1024 × 600) multi-touch display, a 256MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, a 3G support and will be released in Japan at around 56,800 Yen ($666). The Shogo provides a 4GB of internal memory, which is expandable via an SDHC memory card slot.
This device has measuring 268mm x 168mm x 16mm and weighing 800grams. No idea on whether this will arrive Stateside or not, but if it does, it looks set to live a pretty tough life since there isn’t any back-end software support such as Android Market or the App Store to prolong its usefulness.
