Samsung PN50C490 and PN50C680 HDTV
Samsung release 3D Plasma TV series and you can pre-order now. The PN50C680 and the PN50C490 both feature a 50” screen and the latest in plasma technology. The major difference between the two is that the PN50C680 features 1080p HD resolution, while the PN50C490 only has a WXGA (1366 x 768) resolution.
Another difference is that the C680 is also 3D ready and can display the new 3D content with the help of 3D glasses. The major selling point though is that both TVs will retail for under $1000. This makes the C680 the first 3DTV to retail for under that price mark and starts the era when 3DTVs become more affordable to average income homes.
